Our team
Alan Alsheimer Jr. is the Head of US Marketing and Distribution at MA Asset Management.
Alan has over 25 years of leadership experience in trading, portfolio management, business development and client relationship initiatives. Alan previously held senior client facing roles at Goldman Sachs, RBS Greenwich Capital, and Lehman Brothers.
Alan holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA from the University of Maryland.
Grace Brady was an Intern on the Investment Team at MA Asset Management. Grace is returning as an Investment Analyst in 2025.
Grace is a senior at Middlebury College, majoring in Economics, and was an active member of the Student Investment Committee, where she held the position of Portfolio Manager in the Industrials Group.
Tiffany Cocozza is the Director of Finance and Operations at MA Asset Management.
Tiffany has over 9 years of experience focusing on overseeing financial reporting, auditing and tax. Tiffany has held roles in public accounting at Presti & Naegele and Citrin Cooperman.
Tiffany is an alumna of Iona College with a BBA in Accounting and MBA in Finance with Advanced Certificates in Public Accounting and International Business.
Elizabeth Fusco is the Executive Administrator at MA Asset Management.
Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience supporting C-Level executives, managing business operations, strategic planning, and event execution. Elizabeth has held similar roles for multiple small businesses.
Elizabeth is an alumna of SUNY Westchester Community College with a degree in Communications and Media Studies.
Paul is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of MA Asset Management.
Paul has over 20 years of experience in financial services and was previously based at UBS where he held roles in Finance and Risk in New York and London. Prior to that, Paul served at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Paul is an alumnus of the University of York with a degree in Mathematics.
Ashees Jain is a Managing Director and US Chief Investment Officer at MA Asset Management.
Ashees has over 20 years of experience overseeing portfolio investments and risk management. He co-founded Blue Elephant in 2013 and served as Chief Investment Officer until its acquisition by MA Financial Group in 2023. Ashees has held Management roles at Nomura Securities, Barclays Capital and Deloitte Consulting.
Ashees earned a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from Cornell University.
Josie has over 7 years of experience focusing on investment portfolio performance analysis and forecasting, investment operations and data management. Josie previously held a role as a Financial Analyst at IBM.
Josie is an alumna of Mercy College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual specialization in Marketing and Finance.
Kent MacWilliams is a Managing Director and Head of US Credit Investments at MA Asset Management.
Kent has over 19 years of experience overseeing transaction sourcing, structuring, execution, and credit and due diligence for investments in fixed-income and private credit markets. Kent has previously held Director and Portfolio Manager roles at UBS.
Kent earned a degree in Business Management from the Kania School of Business at the University of Scranton and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
Catherine Marino is the Director of Investment Relations at MA Asset Management.
Catherine has over 18 years of experience managing and overseeing investor relations and onboarding. Catherine has held similar roles at Nomura Securities and HSBC.
Catherine is an alumna of Fairfield University where she earned a degree in Economics. She has also received Series 7, 63, and 3 licenses.
JP Marra is Managing Director and Head of MA Asset Management US.
JP has over 30 years of experience across interest rate trading, credit, risk oversight, relationship management and strategic direction. JP co-founded Blue Elephant Capital Management in 2013 and was CEO until MA Financial Group’s acquisition in 2023. JP has held Managing Director roles at Nomura Securities, Bank of America and Lehman Brothers where he focused on high-grade institutional rates trading, mortgages and funding.
JP is an alumnus of Trinity College with a degree in Economics and has Series 3, 7, 24, and 63 securities licenses.
Adriana Quizhpi is an Associate and Senior Portfolio Accountant at MA Asset Management.
Adriana has over 10 years of experience overseeing financial reporting, treasury functions, audit, tax compliance and liquidity forecasts. Adriana has held similar roles at NCR Corporation.
Adriana is an alumna of Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business where she earned a degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
Christian Sampson is an Investment Manager at MA Asset Management.
Christian has over 7 years of experience focusing on alternative and asset-based lending, leveraged finance and opportunistic credit investing. Christian was previously working in MA’s Private Credit Investment Team in Sydney, Australia. Prior to MA, Christian held roles in Securitization Origination and Corporate & Institutional Credit Restructuring at Westpac Group.
Christian has a Bachelor of Law (Corporate & Commercial) and Bachelor of International Relations (Diplomacy) from Bond University.
Enrike Vogel is the Director of Operations at MA Asset Management.
Enrike has over 12 years of experience focusing on developing scalable operating platforms to support the growth in specialty credit and alternative investment firms.
Enrike was previously a member of Deloitte Australia’s Assurance and Advisory audit team.
Enrike has a Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Management, Investment Management, and Financial Accounting) from the University of Stellenbosch.
Brad is the Head of Product Development. He oversees the new origination pipeline, new product initiatives, and firm capital planning. He also focuses on existing partnerships to develop further opportunities and value for shareholders.
Most recently, Brad was the Global Head of Front-End Trading and Finance at Nomura Securities and a member of the Fixed Income Americas Executive Committee, where he had daily responsibility for the global financing business and the short-term US Government and Agency Securities trading franchise. Prior to Nomura, Brad held a similar role as the Head of Global Financing and Front-End Trading at Bank of America Securities. Brad began his career at Lehman Brothers, spending over 20 years in various operational, management, and front-office trading roles.
Brad earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Baruch College.
Jade Xu is a Portfolio Analyst at MA Asset Management.
Jade has over 2 years of experience focusing on industry research, building financial and cashflow models, evaluating portfolio performance, cash management and aiding in general due diligence responsibilities.
Jade earned her Mathematics Honors & Physics degree from Hamilton College and is an alumna of Carnegie Mellon University where she earned her master's in Computational Finance.

Steve has over 30 years’ experience in corporate and structured credit and has extensive experience in originating, structuring, underwriting and distributing debt and quasi debt products in the Australian and Asian markets.
He previously held the roles of Group Executive, Finance and Treasury at Consolidated Press Holdings (Packer Family Company), Managing Director, Head of Leveraged and Acquisition Finance, Asia Pacific at UBS and Executive Vice President, Head of Structured Credit at Bankers Trust Australia.
Steve holds a Graduate Diploma in Management from Macquarie University.
Steve has been a Director of the Board, South Sydney Rugby League Football Club since 2014.
Frank is a Managing Director and Head of Credit Investments & Lending at MA Financial Group, having joined the firm over a decade ago.
He is responsible for MA’s Global Credit Solutions platform, which invests across asset backed lending, corporate debt, bonds and credit opportunities verticals. Frank also has strategic oversight of the firm’s Lending businesses, which include non-bank lending and financial technology platforms, and its principal credit initiatives.
Frank’s background includes substantial experience in corporate advisory, where he focused on special situations, M&A and financial services transactions. His notable transaction experience includes Alinta Energy, Billabong, Boart Longyear, Ten Network, GE Capital Consumer ANZ (now Latitude), HomeStart lending platform, SA Government CTP / Berkshire Hathaway reinsurance deal, Axsesstoday restructure, Slater & Gordon restructure, Blue Sky recapitalisation, Emeco / Orionstone / Andy’s three-way merger and recap, Saputo/Murray Goulburn and Reliance Rail, among others.
Frank previously worked as a corporate strategy consultant at Pottinger and in funds management at Challenger.
He holds a Commerce / Law (First Class Honours) degree from Sydney University.

Andrew Martin is a Managing Director of MA Financial Group and the Head of MA Financial Group Asset Management.
Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in global investment as a principal investor and adviser across a range of sectors including real estate, infrastructure, private equity and energy.
Prior to joining MA Financial Group Andrew was a Managing Director at UBS Global Asset Management in Infrastructure and Private Equity.
Prior to that Andrew was a principal of an asset management firm which founded several real estate funds in the US, Australia and Asia.
Previously Andrew was an investment banker with Rothschild, and served in the NSW Government Premier’s Department and the Cabinet Office where he advised on the privatisation and corporatisation of infrastructure and utilities.
Andrew has also held senior positions in Australian and international law firms.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney.
Janna Robertson is the Chief Operating Officer of MA Financial Group.
Janna has over 20 years’ experience in financial services and has held roles at Deloitte and KordaMentha where she was focused on advising clients in relation to financial and operational restructuring and transformation, and performance improvement.
Janna is an alumnus of the University of Technology Sydney, a chartered accountant and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Colin Richardson is a Managing Director at MA Financial Australia.
Colin has over two decades of investment banking experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory transactions across a variety of industries. He was most recently a Managing Director at Rothschild and was previously a Managing Director and Head of M&A for Australia and New Zealand at Citigroup and a Managing Director in M&A at Deutsche Bank. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Colin worked at SG Hambros, formerly known as Hambros Bank, in Australia and the UK.
Colin holds a B.A. from Hull University.
Chris Wyke is Joint Chief Executive Officer of MA Financial Group and was one of the founders of the company in 2009.
Chris has over 20 years’ industry experience, including extensive private equity, turnaround, restructuring, M&A, equity and debt capital markets transactions.
Chris has been involved with a broad range of clients and transactions, most recently the sale of TEN Network Holdings to CBS, the restructure and recapitalisation of both BIS Industries (A$1.1bn) and Slater and Gordon (A$730m), the purchase of the GE Consumer finance business (A$8.2bn), the reorganisations and control transactions of both Boart Longyear (US$352m), and Billabong (US$495m), the distressed acquisitions of both I-Med (A$1bn) and Channel 9 (A$3.4bn) on behalf of a syndicate of Special Situation / Private Equity investors.
Chris previously worked in investment banking for J.P. Morgan and UBS in London, Singapore and Sydney.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Economics with Honours from University College London.
