Our commitment to sustainability

We believe in building a sustainable business that benefits all stakeholders - shareholders, employees, clients, and the communities we serve. Sustainability drives our long-term decisions, ensuring better outcomes for everyone involved.

As significant owners in our business, our management applies a long-term perspective to decision-making and strategy. We integrate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into our operations, investment decisions, and asset management.

Our sustainability framework contains six pillars and illustrates our approach

Our position on climate

Our commitment to ESG practices evolves as we grow and diversify our business interests.

Minimising our environmental impact is crucial. We are dedicated to acting responsibly and in line with government guidelines. Our goal is to achieve net zero emissions for our direct operations by 2050 and reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity per employee by 50% by 2030.

Installing solar across our real estate portfolio

We pride ourselves on integrating sustainable energy solutions into our real estate portfolio, setting a new industry standard. The Armada Bathurst Shopping Centre leads our renewable energy initiatives with over 1,200 solar panels, generating more than 1 million kWh annually and meeting 70% of the centre’s energy needs. Reducing carbon emissions by 820 tonnes of CO2 each year.

This effort is part of a broader $12 million investment to enhance sustainability across our properties. By project completion, over 11,000 solar panels will be installed at five shopping centres, reducing CO2 emissions by ~9,000 tonnes annually.
