Our Co-Founder and Group Vice Chairman Andrew Pridham AO recently sat down with Will Chapman and Charlie Selth on their The Business Of podcast for wide-ranging discussion.

Over 60-minutes the trio covered everything from Andrew’s early days at university, his pathway into real estate and investment banking including his time as Global Head of Real Estate and Head of Investment Banking for Australasia at UBS, as well as his role in the rise of REIT structures in Australia.

Andrew offered insight into the genesis of MA Financial Group and our origins in 2009 as Moelis Australia – a 50/50 joint venture with Moelis & Company’s Ken Moelis. Andrew explained how MA Financial has evolved over time by “starting small” in various strategies before scaling the successful ventures, the importance to the business of embracing change and evolution: “…the world changes a lot and you’ve got to change with it”, as well as the decision in 2017 to list on the ASX.

Andrew also discussed his role as Chairman of 2024 Minor Premiers the Sydney Swans, and his own podcast What Matters.
